New Google search results page
The most used search engine in the world has changed it design. On the home page the differences are small, some new buttons, sleeker logo, and some minor other detail changes.
I didn’t feel like blurring my email, so spam all you want, it won’t bother me.
The biggest differences are found on the search results page. The added some new freaky features like the “wonder wheel”, which draws some awesome mind map like spider web thing with your search results. But the main added feature is the sidebar. Showing different options like images videos and so on and on.
Apparently I need to do some more SEO..
At the bottom of the result page, are like the old one the suggested searches but more structured. And everything looks somewhat cleaner.
On the functionality now you can select the time of your results and location. Which are with our awesomely fast changing and growing word wide web a welcome feature.
But I don’t know if I like the changes, design wise. Because the power of Google is the clean design, only the most highly needed information is shown. And now there is a sidebar, like for example Yahoo has, I don’t know yet if it adds or removes awesomeness, but since I use Google a lot I can soon tell.
